I just chopped off a whopping 14 somewhat inches off of my head and gave it away to poor cancer children and POOF… it’s like nothing happened ahaha!

No, I’m not whining. I just have a headache, im sniffling, sneezing, aching, stuffy head… every cliche` in the book. But at least one thing’s not going to be giving me a headache from now on — my hair. My mom even brought me a curling iron!

I always tell people some of the weirdness of Japan, not that they don’t expect weird stories from such a country, but the stories I tell them still manage to surprise them… very much.

As a blonde of course I was going to get attention, but the type of attention I did get was quite… of a tropical variety, to putt it mildly.

Ok, back to the story.

So, yeah. I told stories about the fact that me being blonde got me some REALLY WEIRD ATTENTION… I had men chase me around with professional cameras taking pictures of ME while I was washing off after mud volley ball. I mean, they pulled off the paparazzi gig quite well. Not the first time that had happened…

But anywho. Yes, Saijou. I lived on top of this hill, in the middle of some forest thing, in a dormitory that wasn’t fit for the rats that lived there. And God forbid, yes, the guys’ dorm had to be even worse… I wonder if anything mutated in that place. It looked like someone smeared shit all over their walls, and of course, the sexist bastards had to keep us foreigners from frolicking and mingling with genders in the only place that we could, the dorms, by FORBIDDING US from going into each other’s dorms. Of course they let the Japanese people, or even those who looked Japanese, slide and pretended nothing was wrong. RACISM EXISTS EVERYWHERE and no matter what you tell them they will DENY the fact that there even is such a concept in Japan. Denial…

I shall continue my rant another day, when my ideas are more composed…

Ok, I’m trying…

So yeah, it was very green. But if I just sit here and describe to you how beautiful it was I think you’d get bored and go read something else.

Of course weird crap happened. We snuck into their campus swimming pool at midnight or so and climbed barbed wire fences… yes, to go SWIM IN A STUPID CHLORINE-LESS POOL. Hmm, I swear I would have rather eaten rotten monkey balls than climb that stupid fence. What else did the weird students of HUSA do? Oh!!! That’s right! They climbed the tower! On campus there is this tall tower thing… if you check out my facebook I guess you can see it. I won’t put any effort into posting the pic here when I’m sure you can find it online.

Oh look how nice I am…

So here it is. The infamous tower. So it was night time and they climbed the thing. They then pissed off of the top, but mostly inside the tower all over the bars. Not only that but they managed to get onto the roof-like area above the entrance of the dorm and piss off of that too. Hail the stupidity of exchange students.

And here it is. Sukiya… the equivalent of McDonalds for pork bowls, curry and such. That is where you go when you’re almost out of cash.

And when you really ran out of money, then you go to the equivalent of TV dinners served in a bowl — Bikkuri Ramen. Bikkuri, meaning you’ll be surprised to find actual food in those bowls! (If you don’t get the gag, please look it up in the dictionary)

 This is the only flavor of Chu-Hi I actually like. It tastes more like pseudo Litchi (pronounced Lai-chee for some of the weirdos out there) somewhat alcoholic drink. It’s good, and cheap.

And last but not least is the HIROSHIMA STYLE OKONOMIYAKI. I don’t like it much myself but the guys sure did eat it everyday!

I was pissing my pants as I ran into the one man/woman bathroom and closed the door quick, thinking I had locked it!

So, I take this long ass piss and of course, it’s so long some guy comes in and like goes OMG and I just say OOPS! and he closes the door and looks down in horror. Poor guy. I feel bad for him… but this kind of stuff happens. I can’t tell how embarrased he was and I can’t really remember what he looked like. He wasn’t cute so whatever.
